Nabil Kakon, 27, born in Morocco, is released from an Israeli prison and immediately flies to New York to meet his younger brother and their Uncle Daveed, an international money launderer who works with gangs in Russia, Israel, and Morocco. Nabil wants to join his uncle's business but, in order to be considered seriously within his uncle's organization, Nabil must be seen as fearless which means he has to kill. But Nabil has only been a petty thief -- he has never taken someone’s life before. A GLASS OF BLUE follows Nabil as he realizes what he needs to do for his future with his uncle, is horrified because he’d rather be a lover than a killer, and yet he knows if he doesn’t do what his uncle and brother urge him to do, he may be trapped. A GLASS OF BLUE, a theatrical experience in one act, is a chilling story about how the possible moral corruption of a young man influences him as he seeks to win the love of his surrogate criminal father.
