Alicia Haymer, actress, writer, and director, is a native Nashvillian, and Fisk alum. In the 25 years that she’s spent on stage, she’s been honored to work with just about every professional theatre house in Nashville. Alicia’s written two short plays, Power to the People, which was most recently performed in the My America short play series in New York, NY, and In Sandy We Trust, which was commissioned as part of the Borderless Arts Theatre for Young Adults project with the Nashville Children’s Theater. She was invited to participate in Nashville Rep’s 2017 Writer’s Room Program in which she completed her first full-length play in two acts Heavy.
