Cathy's play, ANOTHER BONE, was produced at Redtwist Theatre, Chicago, in 2014, directed by Ian Frank. It was a 2013 Finalist at the Ashland New Plays Festival and a 2012 Finalist at The O’Neill. The play had a public reading at Chicago Dramatists in September 2011. It received staged readings in February, 2013 at Triton College, River Grove, IL, where she was the 2013 Emerging Playwright.

She was a Senior Network Playwright at Chicago Dramatists 2012-2014.
She is artist-in-residence at the Millay Artist Colony, NY, for November, 2013.
In 2014 she was an Artist-in-Residence at The Millay Colony for The Arts and in 2013, at The Byrdcliffe Arts Colony, NY.
She earned her MA in Playwriting from Wilkes University in 2023 and is a candidate for the MFA at WIlkes in 2024. She holds an MA in fiction from The Writers' Program at the University of Illinois Chicago, a BA in Music from Elmhurst University. She has been a scholarship recipient at The Bread Loaf Writers Conference, and has published fiction and articles.
She is at work on a play that takes place in Chicago during the 1890s.
