  • I don't know how to describe this play in a way that does it justice. I have never seen a play that conveys loss and loneliness in a way that has you laughing constantly. Two lovely characters who are lonely in their own worlds are brought together by a comic book. Then there's a little magic.

  • NON STOP COMEDY
From the first line to the last line, this play has you laughing. This is an old-school farce set in the modern age. Anyone who has had a job will appreciate it.

  • This play is so good. The way it tells a wonderful frontera story is unparrallelled. I want to see it produced everywhere always.

  • This play is incredibly rendered with bouts of sadness, beauty, and family bonds. A tight cast and a wonderful story. You think you know where it's going, but instead, it takes you to a holy place. It's freaking lovely. I can't wait to see it get all the glory it deserves.

  • Such a beautiful play. Basketball on stage like we've never seen it before. A wonderful group of characters.

  • Leonard Madrid: Bag of Bones (or The Circuz)

Violence along the border, attitudes between cultures, hybridity of culture, and the place of the press and individuals are rolled together in a theatrical work that would make a point and tell a great story at the same time. This play covers a very relevant borderland issue in an incredibly beautiful and stylish way.

This is a truly theatrical piece. Directors, Actors, and especially designers would all be inspired by The Circuz.
