Ben Firke is a playwright, producer, and occasional performer. He is the author of the full-length plays I Am The GooseKing, Spoons, Extremely Bad Praxis, Shovels Vs. Schubert, and Mark David Chapman: Live in Concert, as well as a few dozen shorts and monologues. His work has been staged at The Tank, the Bell House, the Gene Frankel Theater (24 Bond St.), and other venues, including a biker bar and a BBQ restaurant. Firke is a co-founder of Jane Roe Presents, a production company that stages short plays and stand-up comedy to raise money for abortion funds and immigrant rights. He also wrote and performed monologues and short plays for the Tank's "Fast and Furious" show every month from 2016-2020.
