Annie Wood was born and raised in Los Angeles sometime between the invention of the Boeing commercial jet and Nintendo. Annie emancipated herself at the age of 16 (with her parent's blessing) so she could go on auditions on her own and begin the creative life she desired since the itty bitty age of three. Annie hit the ground running and never looked back.

Wood is a writer, a TV/film actor, and an internationally exhibited artist. She was the host and co-producer of the nationally syndicated dating game show, BZZZ! making her the 3rd woman solo dating game show host in the history of television.
