Cole Hunter Dzubak (he/him/his) is a Michigan-born playwright and actor who is a proud member of the Dramatists Guild. He is a graduate of Michigan State University's BFA Acting program, where he gained knowledge and experience in stage acting, screen acting, voice acting, scenic carpentry, educational theatre, and playwriting. Dzubak has two main focuses when it comes to his writing: sharing the stories and educating audiences on the Diabetic experience, and exploring and conceptualizing how to produce and create horror on stage.
Cole has had several productions since he started writing in 2019, working with theatres across the country including Second Stage Productions, Transforming MSU, Flint Repertory Theatre, the Talking It Out Play Festival, and Rainy Day Artistic Collective. He received his first publication in August 2022 through the Fresh Words International Literary Journal.
Cole also has several screenwriting credits, serving as a writer/co-writer for 8 episodes of "The ShoW," America's longest-running college-ran sitcom. Cole is also the co-creator and co-writer for the mini-series "Counter CULTure," created in partnership with Evil Twin Digital.
Cole also has educational writing under his belt, writing the short play "I Hate Needles," which was filmed and used as a training video for Michigan State University faculty and staff on the diabetic experience of students in college and how to support them.
