Hamlet finds a farce-like, comical, yet spooky twist. Teen mystery meets a puppet-horror movie in this shortened retelling of Hamlet, where the young know something is rotten in the state of Denmark. The alliance, led by Prince Hamlet, try to find a way out before it is too late, through disguises, feigned madness, and the disarming of puppeteering hands. (With a shortened script of 113 pages, it allows for a shortened run time of around 2 hours for this adaptation.)

They do what they can to live a life of freedom without scurvy. The need for freedom increases when our dear crew is faced with certain death as King Romulus holds a ransom on their heads. This pirate troupe of traveling artists, charged with theft, plundering, sodomy, and murder, although "entirely innocent," is chased by a group of officers, wanting the bounty and targeting them specifically. When captured and placed before King Romulus, they must perform a story to make him weep, for if he does, he will give them pardons and amnesties for their supposed crimes.

When she is turned into a human, she is truly a fish out of water, filled with uncertainty and scared to leave the aquarium. It takes courage, friendship, and her own voice to find the ocean. All fish should be puppeteered.

Giovanni comes from poverty and finds a career and a home in his audience as a performer. However, when his audience turns against him as he ages, it is the monks of the cathedral that give him sanctuary, just as they did when he was small and vulnerable as a child. Lead characters include Giovanni as well as Strega Nona (Yes, she makes an appearance)!

When writers with different levels of fame go on a writer’s retreat, secrets meant to be left long buried are revealed in the country air of the Appalachian Mountains, where the supernatural is afoot and there is nowhere to hide. Based on the last work of Ibsen’s from 1899, Irene is given a supernatural ending she has longed for, waiting for over a hundred years.

ONE ACT: When one of the sisters of fate passes away to the underworld, the remaining sisters grapple with the final rights and loose ends. Set in a backyard garden for good witches in rural America, this piece has themes of death, sisterhood, and the cycle of life. There are mythical elements to the storytelling. Structurally, dance also comes into play within a dance sequence.

10 MIN: The Tiny Mites have been signed up for a talent show! From the grasshoppers, fairies, fireflies, moths, and butterflies, the cast of characters scramble to put on a show together.

Meanwhile, Juniper the moth seeks help from her butterfly friends to find the perfect magical outfit for such an occasion. It would be a shame if the perfect magical dress went missing...

TEN MIN: Made through 24 hour theatre, Candace is stressed about their upcoming art opening when a magical muse appears.

FULL LENGTH: Adapting the world of LM Montgomery's Anne Shirley, this full length piece gives opportunity for two casts.

It is a coming-of-age play from ages 12 to 17, dealing with the difficulties of fitting in, grief, loss, making mistakes, and maintaining friendships. "Tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it yet."

Act II: Anne's House of Dreams: Based on Anne's House of Dreams, Anne and Gil marry, facing adulthood as they move away from Green Gables. Act II is much darker than Act I and should be treated differently.

ONE ACT: Set in an Italian American Restaurant, inspired by greek mythology and rape culture in the United States, this play expresses the insecurity of being a woman in America, the strength behind women supporting women, the strength of an immigrant family, and the American dating culture.

Note: This performance deals with the rape culture and may be too much for some audiences or audience members. This sensitive subject matter should be handled as such.

10 MIN: Andrew is peacefully canoeing until suddenly, a great, green giant is awakened! Aku, the great green giant, has lost his family and the forest is gloomy. Can Andrew and Aku turn the gloomy forest into a happy one?

SHORT: "Leslie and the Coquina Crabs," tells the story of a lonely Leslie finding magic and friendship on a beach off the coast of Florida.

10 MIN: Chester and Janice are stuck at a crosswalk that hasn't allowed them to cross in a while. They must figure out how to go on with their day when they are forced to wait. and wait. and wait.

10 MIN: Karen and Olivia talk about eggs, periods, and life in between their college courses in this 10 minute play.
