Sarah Marcus

Sarah Marcus is a theater artist and educator who has performed and developed theater classes throughout New York City and Western Massachusetts. She holds an M.F.A. in acting from The Theatre School at DePaul University and a B.A. in history from Tufts University. Her solo show, "The Company of Myself" premiered at the Emerging Artists Theatre in New York, and she has appeared in plays at the Adirondack Theatre Festival, Cleveland Public Theatre, New York International Fringe Festival, and HERE Arts Center, among others. In addition, she has trained with Tectonic Theater Project, Upright Citizen's Brigade, and the Williamstown Theater Festival. Her solo show, "The Company of Myself" premiered at the Emerging Artists Theatre in New York, and she has appeared in plays at the Adirondack Theatre Festival, Cleveland Public Theatre, New York International Fringe Festival, and HERE Arts Center, among others. In addition, she has trained with Tectonic Theater Project, Upright Citizen's Brigade, and the Williamstown Theater Festival. In Western Mass, she has appeared in Greenfield's Double Take Fringe Festival and Northampton's 24-Hour Theater Festival. For five years, she ran the 6th-9th grade drama program at The Bement School in Deerfield, and she has also run theater programs at the Smith College Campus School, Greenfield Public Schools, Girls Leadership Institute, and Enchanted Circle Theater. She currently co-leads Play Incubation Collective and the Youth Performance Festival.
