Madeline Mahrer is a playwright currently based in Los Angeles. She recently graduated UCLA and received her MFA in theater with a focus in playwriting. She received her Bachelor's at San Francisco State University for Creative Writing with a minor in Film and studied sketch writing at UCB, New York.

While fighting the urge to either let herself sink or swim, Jemma finds herself entangled in a love triangle, haunted by ghosts, and stuck between dreamworld and reality. Jemma’s journey will ask us, is it our choice to stay alive or has the decision already been made for us by our ancestors?
