Marguerite Hannah (Horizon Theatre Company-Atlanta, Georgia-Associate Producer) ) Marguerite Hannah started her adventures in theatre as an actor, now also a producer and director. As an actor, Marguerite walked the boards of regional theatre across the country. In 2006, Marguerite joined Horizon Theatre’s administrative staff as Business Manager, then added Apprentice Company Artistic Director and now Associate Producer. Marguerite remembers fondly her time on the production team of the National Black Arts Festival in its early years. In 2020, she started The New Georgia Woman Project: Black Women Speak, a playwright’s lab for Black women writers and a vehicle for community engagement with Black women in the Atlanta metro area. In 2022, Marguerite was the co-recipient of the Atlanta Suzi Award for Direction of The Light. She is Vice-president of the National New Play Network Board, a member of the NAMT board of directors and Chair Emerita of the 2023 NAMT Festival of New Musicals and a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association,
