Rose Figueroa

Rose Figueroa (she/her/ella) is an accomplished Stage Manager and Arts Administrator passionate about developing and supporting new work through care-centered collaboration. She currently serves as the Director of Operations for the National New Play Network (NNPN), where she champions innovation, accessibility, and community across the national new play landscape.

As Resident Stage Manager at Theatre Lab at Florida Atlantic University, Rose has helped bring dozens of stories to life, including Refuge, Last Night in Inwood, Rooted, What’s Best for the Children, and The Impossible Task of Today. Beyond Florida, she has worked on Beautiful Star (Triad Stage), The Cucuy Will Find You (San Diego Rep), Manning (La Jolla Playhouse), and Urbanite Theatre’s Modern Works Festival.

Rose is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association and serves on the Latinx Theatre Commons steering committee, advocating for equity and representation in theatre spaces. In 2023, she was honored with the Remy Award for Outstanding Behind-the-Scenes Contributions. A certified Mental Health First Aid provider, she is dedicated to fostering supportive environments for artists and arts workers alike.

Preparing to begin her Master’s in Arts Administration at Boston University, Rose continues to grow her leadership practice rooted in strategic innovation and artist well-being. Outside her professional work, you can find her traveling the world, spending time with her loved ones, or painting.
