David L. Munnell is a Cleveland based theatre artist who dips his hands in most artistic aspects of the theatre. He holds a BFA with a focus in Musical Theatre from Youngstown State University. While there, his thesis project, The Star Seeker was written and performed in the Youngstown State University Planetarium as part of a nation wide event celebrating the five hundredth anniversary of Galileo Galilei's discovery of the moons of Jupiter. His short play, The Pheasant Plucker's Son was a semi finalist at the Between Us Take Ten Short Play Festival in New York City.

John's work is always quick and snappy, and this piece is no exception. These are some fun roles for two women to play. I get a nice "Gilda Radner" impression from it. Lots of fun to stage also. Plenty of room for a simple stage design or complicated one if a theatre is looking to be ambitious.

This is probably one of the most brilliant adaptations of a Shakespeare piece so much so that it transcends its source material in the same way West Side Story does. The inclusive nature of the piece is a huge highlight as well. I've never seen an Ace character so positively featured in a play. Absolutely delightful from beginning to end. I cannot recommend this enough.

A fun, terrifying ride. Fantastically natural dialogue throughout an unnatural occurrence. A good sense of dread and foreboding throughout makes this a perfect piece for an autumn season. I'm excited to see how this piece is developed going forward. Very "stage-able."

A terrifying tale borne out of the pandemic. Excellent subversion of expectations. Could be easily staged and it's a small cast with some great character work to dig into.

My eyes are crossed from all the antics in this piece. And that's a wonderful thing. A fantastic mix of high and low brow humor. A comedy of mis-manners.
