Gary Lennon

Gary Lennon is an award-winning playwright, showrunner, producer, writer, and director. He is currently the co-showrunner of “Hightown,” and was previously the co-showrunner of "Power." Both series are with Starz, where he has an overall deal. He is also an executive producer of HBO's "Euphoria."

Lennon began his career in theater. His play “The Interlopers” received three Ovation nominations and two NAACP nominations, and was an LA Times Critics Pick. His play “A Family Thing” was also an LA Times Critics Pick, earning six LA Weekly and two Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Nominations.

Another of his plays is being adapted as a feature, retitled as “A Family Film.”
