Bill Brohaugh is author of several hundred produced short-form radio comedy scripts. Author of books about writing and language use: Write Tight, Unfortunate English, Professional Etiquette for Writers, Everything You Know About English is wrong. Co-author of the published (Dramatic Publishing) and often produced children's play, King Arthur's Calamity. Lisa Holt is a retired pharmacist with a 40-year background in theatre. As a reed doubler, her focus has always been on musical theatre where she performs as a pit musician. More recently she accidentally discovered she enjoys writing with Bill. The results of that prize-winning play collaboration have been produced on both coasts and many places between, which she thinks is cool.

The old queen would like to retire but she wants her successor to be worthy and good to her people and not, if you please, the very ambitious Earl of Nasty. Merlin the Magician is instructed to determine who shall be the new king. Of course, he brings forth the rock with a sword thrust into it. The person who can pull out the sword will be king. The Earl of...
