Robyn Ginsburg Braverman has performed as an actor, director, and bringer of enthusiasm. She has been a voiceover actor for over 40 years and is proud to have served on the boards of both Dragon Theatre and Pear Avenue Theatre.

In addition to once playing Carmen Sandiego, Robyn voices such name clients as OpenTable, Cisco, Google, and Pennzoil. After a college career in radio broadcasting, she co-hosted a morning drive time radio show, then created, wrote and performed characters with comedy troupe Lobster’s FunHouse Players, creating content for commercial radio programs and a syndicated radio series. Robyn came to theatre arts by joining the founding team of Pear Theatre (Mountain View, CA) in 2002. She’s supported that space ever since, through administration, board membership and her 16-year involvement with the annual production, Pear Slices. Robyn supported Pear Slices through dramaturgy, directing, costuming, sound design, and set design for more than 100 short plays.

Currently, she serves as producer/director of Pear Theatre’s developmental reading series for full length plays, Fresh Produce, which has brought over thirty-five full length works to the public. Beyond her board activities with now-defunct Dragon Theatre, Robyn collaborated on the world premiere of Barry Slater’s Confession in 2020, which she co-produced and directed. Robyn lives in Fremont, California with her playwright husband, Paul, and their ever-evolving cat tribe.

    I came to write a recommendation but feel I must simply point to Mike Solomonson's; I couldn't have said it better. I'm physically past the need but keenly remember the feelings similar to Isabel's. Women should NOT be forced to choose between food and menstrual products.

    For a play ostensibly about a time decades ago, this feels uncomfortably modern from my chair in 2023;
    Delightfully unpleasant conversation ensues. We're left to wonder what Anna Cooper said in her letter!

    Max Tachis' 1-800-DISS-GUYS is a hilarious take on today's service economy with wonderful character opportunities. Two thumbs up!

    3 Characters Figure It Out is a fantastic entry into the "Inside-Theatre" canon.
    An absolute delight.
