Rachael Powles is a playwright and dramaturg currently based in Ottawa, Ontario. Her dramaturgy materials have been presented at Ithaca College Theatre, the New Voices Literary Festival, the Broken Ivy Theater, and The Theater at Woodshill. Her first poetry chapbook THE WORLD ENDED ON A FRIDAY, published by Bottlecap Press, was released in 2022. Rachael's work focuses on the intersections of the past and present, unknown moments in history, and bringing contemporary perspectives to the classics. MA Candidate, University of Ottawa.
