Lynn Spector (she/her) has been the dramaturg on new musical works at Pipeline Theatre Company, the Toronto Fringe Festival, and the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF). Her work as a script supervisor includes the Broadway productions of Moulin Rouge!, Beetlejuice, Paradise Square, and The Great Gatsby; The Harder They Come and Plays for the Plague Year at the Public Theater; and numerous developmental readings and workshops. Lynn assisted Alex Timbers on Here's Hoover! (Les Freres Corbusier), Permission (MCC), and The Bobby Darin Story (92Y Lyrics and Lyricists); and served as assistant director on the second national tour of John Doyle’s revival of The Color Purple. She has been a guest lecturer on new play dramaturgy and musical theatre dramatic structure, and has been published in the journal Studies in Musical Theatre. Lynn holds an MFA in Dramaturgy from Columbia University and a BA in Theater and English from Brandeis University.
