Caity-Shea Violette is an award-winning playwright and screenwriter based in LA. Her work explores the intersections of healthcare, sexuality, capitalism, and intergenerational healing through a darkly comedic, interpersonal lens. Her plays include RX MACHINA (ACTF Harold & Mimi Steinberg Award, Clauder Competition Gold Prize, Judith Royer Award Finalist), REAP THE GROVE (Jean Kennedy Smith Award, ScreenCraft’s Stage Writing Award Runner-Up), SLOW JAM (Samuel French Off Off Broadway Festival Winner, Gary Garrison National Ten-Minute Play Award, published by Concord Theatricals), CREDIBLE (Blue Ink Award Semifinalist, O’Neill NPC Semifinalist), TARGET BEHAVIOR (National Partners of American Theatre Award), and others.
