Studied acting in the USA at Northwestern University, followed by the
American Academy in New York City. From there, won a scholarship to
train at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Now resides in
the UK.
Driftwood, a Finalist at both New York’s Summer Play Festival and the
Great Plains Conference, had its World Premier at Houston’s Main Street
Theatre and was nominated for the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize. A
screenplay adaptation of the same received the John Muir Gold Award at the
Yosemite International Film Festival.
Oh, Town of Little Bethlehem was long-listed for the UK’s Bruntwood
Playwriting Competition at the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester.

at London’s Soho Theatre and received it’s USA premier at the Detroit
Repertory Theatre. It was featured in American Theatre Magazine and
nominated for Best Comedy for the state-wide annual Wilde Awards held in
Detroit. It has been nominated for the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize.
Coleslaw and Coconut Cream Pie was a Finalist at the Eugene O’Neill
Playwrights’ Conference and a Runner-Up in the Eileen Heckart Playwriting
competition in Columbus Ohio, where it was given a staged reading. Other
staged readings: York Theatre Royal in the UK and The Irish Repertory
Theatre in NY, USA. It has been adapted as a screenplay and will go into
pre-production summer of 2016.
Most recent plays: Twenty Four Hours from Tucson (a Finalist for the Dezart
Festival of New Plays) and The Fall of a Sparrow (now being read as one of
sixteen long-listed plays by the Everyman, Liverpool).
Rat was a Semi-Finalist for the Eugene O’Neill’s Playwrights Conference.
