Julie-Anne (she/her) is a queer Boston-based playwright and dramaturg. Julie-Anne (she/her) is a queer Boston-based playwright and dramaturg. Her one-act plays include LITTLE GIRL BLUE (finalist, Theatre Viscera's Queer Playwriting Contest; reading, Lesley University), A PART OF ME, and two works about literary giant, Virginia Woolf (A PRESSURE OF RAPTURE and A PRECIPICE MARKED V). Her 10-minute plays include THE SPACE BETWEEN US (production, Boston Theater Marathon; reading, Lesley University), and AN UMBRELLA FOR THE END OF THE WORLD (KCACTF National Playwriting Program’s Planet Earth Arts Award), among others.

Julie-Anne is a dramaturg for Company One's 2022-2023 Volt Play Lab with Kirsten Greenidge and Ilana Brownstein. She earned her M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Lesley University (Writing for the Stage and Screen) and her B.A. in Theatre Arts from Plymouth State University. She is a member of the Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of America.
