Lauren Lindsey

Lauren is an award-winning writer and actor currently based in New York. Her most recent one-woman show, premiered at TADA! as part of the Emerging Artists Theater Festival. Her latest screenplay short, “A Tough Score” won a developmental and festival award. As a writer, Lauren's plays and poems have been performed in both NYC and internationally, including at: Theatre Row, TADA!, The LAByrinth Theater Company, United Solo Festival, Under St. Marks, Bank Street Theater, The Fringe Festival and Upright Citizens Brigade. Internationally, her shows have been produced as part of Dublin's Fringe Festival and The New Theatre. She has also written for TV and film including: PBS and MTV.

Lauren is also an actor. She recently had a recurring role in Emmy nominee Dui Jarrod’s new series, which premiered at the Seattle Film Festival. Lauren's newest play, “Tell Me”, set to premiere at the end of March 2020 at the Access Theater in New York will now be produced in 2021 due to theater closures from COVID-19. Lauren is an intensive ensemble member at the LAByrinth Theater company and a company member at Playful Substance and PopUP Theatrics.
