Diana Lee Woody is a playwright/physicist/actor. She has written several plays, radio plays, and award winning screenplays. Her plays have been performed in New York, Canada, Pennsylvania, Maryland California, and Michigan. Diana is a member of the Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights, The Dramatist Guild, and The American Physical Society. She is a native of the east coast, hailing from Silver Spring Maryland.

    Ted and Betty's parents are meeting for the first time at Christmas dinner where Ted and Betty plan to announce their marriage. But when Ted’s Dad, Glen, meets Betty's Mom, Susan, they soon realize they have met before. Glen and Susan were lovers during World War II when they were living in Russia and haven’t seen each other since Susan left Glen abruptly without any explanation.

    Presently Glen is a retired spy from ‘The Company’ but his daughter, Cathy is convinced he is still running missions when he says he is getting groceries in Frederick Maryland. Ward and June, Susan and Glen’s spouses. are clueless to the intrigue happening in the kitchen. When Susan reveals to Glen that Betty may be his daughter, Glen and Susan must come up with a scheme to thwart Betty and Ted’s marriage before they have kids. All the while without revealing to Susan’s very anti Communist husband their Russian ties. Meanwhile, Betty is also working for ‘The Company’ and has her mother, Susan, under surveillance for nefarious secret activities which also take her to Frederick Maryland. Ultimately Betty must decide between her loyalty to her mother and her country.
