Barbara Kimmel

Barbara Kimmel is an Atlanta-based playwright and children's book author. She uses humor to illuminate the challenges women face in finding their voices and being heard. Barbara's play, RECONSTRUCTION, inspired by her journey with breast cancer, was honored with selection for the Annual Women Playwrights Festival at the Ivoryton Playhouse and earned her a 2022 Ellie Award.
