His feature length plays include "Skin Surfers", "The Group" and "Shake the Disease".

Leif's plays are designed to serve as rituals. They summon Queer Ancestors and invoke Queer Magick. They conjure a groundswell of Queer Energy that, when unleashed through the words and actions of the characters, obliterates the stale pale patriarchy and makes way for a more inclusive and just world.

Plays

  • Shake the Disease
Murder, suicide and AIDS plague a gay resort in Northern California during the fateful summer of 1989.
  • The Group
The group is a full length one act play centering on the tragic events that took place over the summer of 1981 within a cult of which my family was a member. The play frames the telling of these events through my eyes as a young queer boy.
  • Skin Surfers
Frances and Kelly invite their new neighbors over for an evening of cocktails, gender switching and body snatching.
  • Nutmeg Rainbow
Peter and Merv debrief before going to bed about a dinner party they hosted. Merv can't sleep, and realizes one of his guests may have infected with a strange phobia he didn't even know existed.
