Mario Vega is a Mexican-American playwright & librettist/lyricist from Southern California. His work explores Mexican-American identity and the Southern California borderlands through satire and fantasy. An alumni of the Miranda Family Fellowship, he is a graduate from San Diego State University and has recently finished his Playwriting MFA at UCLA.
