Aaron Zilbermann

Aaron Zilbermann is a playwright, director, actor and educator. He has worked as a middle and high school English and Drama teacher in underperforming and underfunded schools since 2006. In Oakland, 2008, he led a group of 13-16 year old students through the process of collaboratively writing and performing a play, entitled "Ghetto Stories", which was performed at The Children’s Creativity Museum in San Francisco. Zilbermann’s plays include "Unbalanced", "Another John", "Go Dumb", "Trepidation", and "I’m a Fucking Artist". His work has been produced and/or developed by 13th Street Repertory Company, New York Theater Intensives and the Midtown International Theater Festival. Andre and Trey are hanging out in their neighborhood in South Dallas. They are relaxing, dancing, and talking shit when their day is inexplicably cursed by the police. Earlier again, that morning, we learn that Trey is struggling with his sexual orientation and is scared to face the world without Andre.
