Johanna Stone is a writer, performer and director based in Los Angeles and New York City. Her plays have been produced by The Brick Theater, Offstage Works, The Blank Theatre, The NoHo Actor's Studio and NYU's Experimental Theatre Wing. Her play Stick & Poke was adapted into a short film produced by Wildwell Films, which premiered as part of the NewFilmmakers NY series at Anthology Film Archives....

    Three losers walk into a party... no sorry I mean an art gallery opening. I mean they're not losers they're just randos you know, they're sort of irrelevant. Except one of them might be magic and one of them might be famous and one of them might turn into a bug. Anyways you should cole to the party/ gallery opening, Winona Psy-Op and Heavenly Polaris will be there.

    A controversial populist girlboss politician who promised to free her generation from the horrors of their parents and the suburban masses delivers her victory speech on the morning of the suburban extermination.
  • Gideon's Bible
    A lovesick, godfearing fake cowboy racoon, a fame-chasing singing hippo, an inept and friendless therapist parrot, and a mysterious crocodile who loves to be bad walk into a bar. A morality tale of sorts.
  • NOT the vagina monolouge
    A post-swiftian girl recounts her personal experience growing into womanhood... and the 2009 VMAs.
  • Bad Apples
    A loser with nothing but worms for friends accidentally creates a wormhole into the future, where an overenthusiastic scientist awaits.
  • Stick & Poke
    Maggie, a bored high school socialite, propositions Ben, who lives in his dad's garage, to give her a stick and poke tattoo. They argue over which one of them is making the other one up.
