Jhona Coombs is a graduating Marymount Manhattan College student in the BA Theatre Arts and BFA Theatre Design and Technology program with concentrations in Writing for the Stage, Scenic Design, and Lighting Design. In playwriting, he has had small productions of his short plays “THE INTERVIEW”, “Happy Birthday, Bypath Hardy Pi”, and an excerpt from "HOW TO MAKE WOOD CHIPS, AND OTHER TECH BOY THINGS”, as well as small readings of drafts from “DU” and “my letter opener SPOONS”. He has various lighting design works in theatre and dance, including some of his most recent works such as MMC’s Fall 2023 mainstage production of “Caucasian Chalk Circle”, the four short plays in MMC’s Fall 2023 Playwriting Projects, and NYU’s Theatre Education Department’s production of “(R)estoration (I)n (P)rogress” at Provincetown Playhouse.

    Freelance writer, Michael, lives with his long-term romantic partner, producer, & manager, Eden, while also starting a new relationship with an local barista and aspiring actor, Edie. Michael manages his new infatuation with Edie, unspoken love for Eden, and internal struggle with life-long mental turmoil while the two lovers manage the new imbalance in their lives with this situation.
