  • A play about how virality can mess you up. Loved all the gross names and the gross talk and the girls getting to be GROSS! And vulnerable! And there for each other! The phrase "the transgenderity of it all" will be rotating in my head for the next week. Funny and sad and lovely!

  • The premise of this play is enticing, and the execution is even better! This world is burning, complete with rhymes, riots, and rampant incompetence. The absurdity of it all is comedic, but darkly relatable to our own current times. Loved the Brechtian style of this play!

  • A wacky and fast-paced comedy about the trials of modern dating! Poor Luv is put through the wringer in rounds of speed dating, featuring a snarky announcer. The ending is not what you'd expect, and I loved it!

  • What a thrill! The shocking twists and turns of this play never stop. Everyone is at each other's throats, and I can't look away. The continuous viciousness makes the quiet moments even more tender. An explosive debate about retribution.

  • Perse Grammer: Beige Noon

What an intriguing premise! I had no idea where this play was going, in the best way possible. I enjoyed the unconventional friendship that developed, as well as the sheer absurdity of the third act. Gotta love a female main character who is unabashedly rude, messy, and lonely. A fascinating exploration of isolation.

  • Perse Grammer: Coming & Going

Absolutely loved this comedy! Orlando's melodramatic heartbreak mixed with Betty's witty quips kept me giggling. Not to mention a Book of Mormon reference, a clever drag queen hustle, and secret heterosexuality. What a delightful read!

  • Perse Grammer: It's About Time

What a wacky family dinner this play is! Time travelers and suburban parents clash over the physics and religion. Deeply relatable older sister Samantha makes a great "straight man" to this absurd cast of characters. It's About Time is a fast-paced and hilarious exploration of how the present moment will forever become a history remembered in a multitude of ways.

  • Perse Grammer: Dust and Echoes

What a ride this play was! The prologue immediately had me hooked. Throughout the play, I could feel Phoebe's excitement and passion for her discoveries emanating off the page. The tension between characters was palpable, and I was intrigued by debates about the ethics of archeology & public display of past lives. This play definitely reignited my childhood interest in Ancient Egypt!

  • Perse Grammer: Medusa of Newtown Square

A unique and darkly comedic take on the myth of Medusa! I loved the character of Ann and her relentless worldview within this absurd suburban world. The culture clash between a modern suburban mother and an Ancient Greek monster was truly entertaining! I'm particularly fond of the ending, which shows the power of one's mindset. What an enjoyable read!
