He is a recipient of the Clifford Odets Ensemble Commission from Lee Strasberg/NYU, the New Light New Voices Award, an Alfred P. Sloan Screenwriting Award, and the Kennedy Center’s Mark Twain Prize for Comic Playwrighting.
