BROOKE PIERCE received her B.F.A. in Dramatic Writing from NYU in 2002. Her musical “Sympathy Jones” (music & lyrics by Masi Asare) premiered at the New York Musical Theatre Festival in 2007 and since then has received over 50 productions throughout North America and beyond. Brooke collaborated with Masi Asare again when she wrote the book for the short musical “The Anniversary” for Prospect Theater Company’s 2015 festival Stage Fright. Brooke has had staged readings of her plays and musical theatre projects at Stage One Theater in Louisville, by the New Jersey Dramatists & The Waterfront Ensemble in Teaneck and Jersey City, and at the Orlando-UCF Shakespeare Festival’s PlayFest 2005 in Orlando.
