Dom Martello (they/them) is a trans playwright, actor, dramaturg, and artistic consultant based in NYC. Their writing centers on the trans and queer experience, often exploring identity through genre. Their work has been developed by The Strides Collective, Syracuse University, We Who Wander, and Pale Fire Theater. They seek levity and joy through their work and wish to see a world where theater isn’t viewed as a luxury but rather as a civic utility that has the power to bring about a better future.

SEEKING DEVELOPMENT: Her cat went missing and she's being haunted by a ghost. He just got out of a long-term relationship and can't hold down a job. They're strangers stuck in a house waiting out a hurricane on Florida's gulf coast. All they have are board games, old CDs, a few cartons of milk, and hope that the house's foundation is strong enough to withstand the storm. Full draft avail by request.
