Madison Fiedler is a playwright from North Carolina. Her play SPAY (script + licensing available with Concord Theatricals) premiered at Rivendell Theatre Ensemble in 2022, won the 2023 M. Elizabeth Osborn Award, and was honored as a nominee for the 2022 Jeff Award for Best New Work and the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize, runner-up for the Princess Grace Awards Playwriting Fellowship and Jane Chambers Playwriting Award, and finalist for the Harold and Mimi Steinberg/American Theatre Critics Association New Play Award; it also appeared on the Kilroys List and in the National Showcase of New Plays. Part satire, part slasher, Homofermenters follows the Friday 6AM cheese shift as its members navigate co-operation, the collapsing planet, polyamory (kinda), and how to cut through a human-sized wheel of parmesan.
