Laura Byron Wade

Laura Byron Wade is a native Floridian and a member of the Dramatist Guild of America. She holds a BFA in Performing Arts from the University of Louisiana and attended the MFA Acting Pedagogy program at the University of Alabama. She holds a M.Ed. in Theatre Pedagogy from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and is a current student in the MFA Dramatic Writing program at the University of Idaho under playwright, Rob Caisley. As a playwright, Laura's plays have been produced in Florida, Alabama, Kentucky, Maryland, Iowa, and New York, with four of her original works winning awards at the Florida Theatre Conference as well as the Southeastern Theatre Conference. She sees playwriting as a responsibility to captivate an audience with the ultimate goal of moving and shaking them into...
