Iyna Caruso

Iyna Caruso is a New York Emmy Award-winning promotional writer, widely published journalist, interpretive tour scriptwriter for major cultural institutions and a playwright whose works focus sometimes loosely—and often largely—on little-known historical events.

She is a member of the Dramatists Guild, Polaris North as well as the literary group, “Living Out Loud: Writers Riff on Love, Sweat & Fears,” where she performs her personal essays live. Caruso has also developed memoir-writing programs for non-profit groups and is a founding organizer of the music festival “Playing on the Porch,” which raises thousands of dollars for charity annually.
