Ajai Tripathi is an award-winning writer, actor, director and teacher based in Oregon. An alumnus of the David Lynch Graduate School of Cinematic Art, he is practitioner of Transcendental Meditation, and his writings are noted for their lyrical prose, emotional complexity and raw honesty. A writer of Indian-Mexican descent, his work explores elements of his cultural background and themes of identity as a queer person of color. He most recently concluded his acclaimed Great White Trilogy with Fuse Theatre Ensemble, a reading of Dreams of a Celestial Night with the OUTwright Theatre Festival and The Rainbow Passage with 21ten Theatre.
