A single phone call between two estranged friends, Camden and Joshua. Sparked by Camden's new understanding of his sexuality, the two revisit long-buried emotions, memories, and confront the fracture of their friendship. From the 17th century to today, as technological progress distances writers from the intimate act of creation and they surrender more of themselves to the systems they build, they are forced to confront what remains of identity when authorship no longer feels entirely their own...
