Work exemplifying this includes her multilingual full-length play THE OTHER IN THE ROOM. Inspired by her award-winning one act play STRANGER GRANDFATHER, STRANGER GRANDDAUGHTER. – it deals with othering from a child’s perspective and turns othering on its head by having the othered included in the the multilingual narrative, and experiencing what it feels like to be othered without being shut out. Similarly, her 10-minute play STATUE OF LIMITATIONS follows the Statue of Liberty, Lady Justice, and Civic Fame in lower Manhattan, internally learning Roe v. Wade was overturned and their external selves having to carry on representing the country. When not writing, she is a theater technician, stage manager, and ushers on Off Broadway productions, film crew, and more.
