Courtney Emerson Is an actress, director, visual artist, and a Dramatist Guild playwright, born and raised in Staten Island, New York. From a very young age, Courtney knew she wanted to be an artist, her love of the arts propelling her into other creative aspects of theatre, such as prop design, costuming, and even puppet making. In 2022, after writing her short play "Sundays Off," for fun, Courtney joined the Women's Playwright Collective. Her play "Flexible Fate" was awarded as The Jury Pick in the 5th Annual Not Forgotten Play Festival, securing her a spot in their New Worlds Festival, showcasing her original One-Act play, "Lights Over Kansas"
