Lena Moore

Lena Moore is an LA native, NYC dweller, and recent graduate of Northwestern University where she studied Theatre and Legal Studies with a concentration in Playwriting. At Northwestern, Lena’s play "Mazels!" was part of Vertigo’s 10 Minute Play Festival in 2023, and her newest play "Rest Stop" was produced at Northwestern in March of 2025. Lena received two grants from Northwestern’s Department of Undergraduate Research to develop her plays through ethnographic, literary, and historical research. Lena’s songs have been performed in musicals, cabarets, children’s performances, and rock concerts.

Synopsis

On the side of Highway 101 in Northern California, six travelers find themselves trapped at a rest stop. As they fight to escape, the travelers are forced to traverse grief, investigate fate, and confront the consequences of healing in this surrealist drama.
