Lola Bode

LOLA BODÉ is a playwright and performer, born and raised in Southern California, toughened by the winters in Illinois, and inspired by New York. She received her Bachelor’s in Theatre from Northwestern University. Whether it’s writing, directing, or acting, Lola is committed to producing new work. Her horror-drama, CRAVE; or how to freeze the phantasmagoria, was a semi-finalist for Northwestern’s 2024 Agnes Nixon Festival and later premiered at the university in the Spring of 2025. Lola’s work often investigates the role art plays in our lives, as she grew up surrounded by artists and actors. Lola was the Artistic Director of Arts Alliance, a student theatre board dedicated to producing accessible theatre. She has also worked in various development positions at production companies.
