This play is filled with fantastical moments that build to a sweeping crescendo. A collection of all the best bits and the human ones that get caught up on the way. I love reading Rincon’s work!

The audience will make a quick connection and root for these characters. The plot covers a lot of ground in a short period of time while being both funny and poignant. Enjoyed it

This play is a delight! Funny, tender, and hopeful with such great theatrical possibilities to play with for the creative team.

BAND MEMBER/MUSICIAN(S)- Can be any combination/number of people with instruments, with at
least one character playing ALEX.
TIME AND PLACE
A standard apartment/home.
Events take place on Nov. 9th, 2016.
A NOTE ON STYLE AND THE BAND
The first part of the play should be played with a fast paced, farcical energy. It should move quickly, and
should stay that way until MATT and ROB’s scene near the end. It should feel ridiculous and heartfelt in
equal amounts.
The Band/Musicians can be presented with as many musicians/instruments as the director would like,
with there being at least one musician to play ALEX. Music is up to the interpretation of the director and
creative team.
