What an amazing show about loss, acceptance, and love. AHAVAH is love. It’s an examination of grief and self with amazingly witty dialogue and the best type of comedy, truth. There is so much in this short play for the actors, audience, directors. There is little wonder why it’s been so successful. With the world the way it is we need more shows like this. We need more Ahavah.

Dana Hall and David Lipshutz have co-authored a gorgeous play about saying goodbye, coming home, and embracing your true self. Infused with love, humor and hope, I imagine Saul carrying on the tradition, leaving checks for his future grandchildren to find someday.

A lovely 10 minute... funny in the right places... touching and tender in the right places. Culturally fulfilling if you may be unfamiliar, but there's universality at work here as well. Grief and loss touch us all, whether we know the right thing to bring to the funeral or not. I can definitely see this piece entertaining and moving audiences who get the chance to see it. Wonderful characters created within a short time, and it was definitely great to get to spend time with them upon reading.
