Full-length. A darkly comedic young adult reimagining of Peter Pan. In Philadelphia, when a despairing college senior processes his looming adulthood, he, along with his roommate's "perfect" fiancée, is pulled into Neverland through Peter’s seductive promises and Tinker Bell’s hidden agenda. With no one else to trust, the college kids band together as they work to resolve matters of their own identity and existential baggage as they uncover dark secrets lurking in Neverland's past.

A contemporary, darkly comedic feminist, queer not-quite sequel, not-quite adaptation, this is a play for young adult audiences about deconstructing gender roles, making authentic connections, and falling into the insidious trap of eternal adolescence.

A great retelling of a classic tale makes you appreciate the source material all the more. A SUPERB retelling renders the original story unnecessary. Peter Fenton's "I THINK WE'RE LOST" is the latter. The familiar characters from J.M. Barrie's "Peter Pan" are all here, but they have a nuance, depth and purpose more profound than any adaptation I've seen before. Fenton captures both the joy and tragedy of never growing up, and finally gives Wendy her due. See this play if you can.

Warning: this play is not for children. It will yank anyone out of the zombie-like power of their delusions: Peter Pan Syndromes, Mother/Mermaid Complexes and the whatever it is that keeps us bound, needing to be set free. Favorite lines: "To live will be an awfully big adventure" and "Pretend I made pancakes." 🤣
