“
Great play with a great acting challenge for a young actress. Frightening story with pretty strong implications for the world we live in. Gives you plenty to think about. Thumbs up! ”

“
Horrifying, gut-wrenching, and all too possibly possible, Jennifer Walton’s “My Pretty Pink Rifle” graphically hits a bullseye. A stunning statement about gun culture in the USA, Walton takes down every argument 2nd Amendment advocates have through the simple, deceptively clear-eyed logic of a child who is too young to completely grasp the horror and tragedy she caused with her pretty pink rifle. Heartbreaking and intense, this play should be produced everywhere. ”

“
A chilling play for a very cold world. A lot of people these days seem to believe that the world is full of danger, and this play takes that belief to its logical end. Extremely disturbing, but then so is our world. ”
Sophie is a 6 year old girl but can be played by a young woman or teen as needed.
The social worker can be a silent but listening character on stage or it can be performed solo.
