Lisa Dellagiarino Feriend's "Daydream" is just that—a perfect dream of how to spend a holiday avoiding confrontations with obnoxious in-laws. This short play combines a collision of fantasies and mundane realities that are instantly relatable. Snappy dialogue— and an added bonus of stage directions for the actors to enjoy in rehearsal. Great fun!

Lisa Dellagiarino Feriend's DAYDREAM is an inventive and hilarious antidote to family gatherings at the holidays and especially now (as in December 2024, though this is a play for all time). Who among us can't relate to Heather? I'd say nobody. Collaborators would have a blast with this script--even the stage directions are a joy to read--and I'd love to see it staged. So well done!

A Tale for our times. How many Thanksgiving dishes have been scrubbed and lovingly pawed over in an attempt to avoid the unwanted conversation in the other room. The fantasy characters are hilarious and the real characters are a true slice of life. A great premise very well done.
