Redeemer Mine

Gloria returns home after her sister is caught cremating their mother, the prophet of the local small-town doomsday cult, in the backyard of their Wyoming farmhouse. Gloria must sift through the mess, reconnect with her sister, and figure out just where the rest of the family went. 2015 O'Neill National Playwrights Conference Finalist.

    It is the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center's pleasure to recommend J.C. Pankratz and their play Redeemer Mind as a finalist for our 2015 National Playwrights Conference. The play rose through a competitive, anonymous, multileveled selection process that took nearly nine months to execute. As one finalist out of hundreds of submissions, the strength of this play’s writing has allowed this work to prosper in such a competitive selection process.
