There's some serious themes here that do get the recognition they deserve, but they're also wrapped up in the crunchy, deep-fried batter that is Sickles' comedic delivery. With laugh-out-loud moments and some key physical comedy, Sickles finds the human among the ferrets and boardwalk treats, delivering a piece that's equal parts heart and laughter.

An absolute gem of a play. Strikingly funny, with an original and effective ploy with one character desperately waiting to bite into her corndog while it's hot... but far from being a comedic gimmick, that's only the catalyst for a rapid turn into a much deeper, soul-satisfying exploration of why relationships fail. Beautifully done.

You just know from the outset that everyone in the audience will be anxiously wondering whether Kaden will take a bite of their corn dog. Just as one might savor the first bite of any boardwalk treat, you can find immense pleasure in this touching comedy as two somewhat clueless characters move toward self awareness. Theaters performing this play could make a fortune with a well-stocked concession stand!
