The dialogue in this play is incredible. Daysha has managed to capture black language is such a poetic way. Veronica writes a story so beautiful and paces so well. I love the overall messages told within this story, and the dynamics between the brothers were so strong. I also really appreciate the playwrighting notes in the beginning, I feel like it gave me a chance to really imagine the play and read the dialogue the way its intended. such a lovely piece, thank you for sharing your work!

Beautifully written and a message for us all about the fragility of the earth and every day that don't try to make it better and right the wrongs of climate change, we could end up like the Howards, hoping for another drop of rain when a billion would be needed to repair the damage.

A heartbreaking conversation between Black men about heritage, legacy, and struggles coming at you from all sides. This play presents a no-win situation, a miracle, a family -- all wrapped up in the poetry of a bead of sweat. If you're looking for a play that tackles both climate change and racial injustice, this might just be it!
